WVSSAC Assistant Executive Director Appointed

Parkersburg, WV (October 22, 2015) – The Board of Directors of the WVSSAC is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Reed to the position of Assistant Executive Director of the WVSSAC. Mr. Reed will begin his new duties in December. Mr. Reed is currently the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Martinsburg High School in Berkeley County.
Greg has served as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Martinsburg High School since 2003. From 1989 -2003 Greg worked at Nicholas County High School. He served as Head Coach of Girls Basketball, Boys basketball, Baseball and Softball. During his time at Nicholas County High School, Greg was a Physical Education and Social Studies Instructor. Greg was the Girls Head Track Coach and Assistant Football coach at East Hardy High School during the 1988-89 school year.
Mr. Reed brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the position. He has worked with principals, athletic directors and coaches throughout the State of West Virginia and has earned the respect of his fellow administrators and coaches.
The Board of Directors and Staff of the WVSSAC would like to express our confidence and extend our congratulations to Greg Reed as he assumes the position of Assistant Executive Director.
